James Peacock sign at front of school

There are two excellent schools in Ruddington; James Peacock Infant & Nursery School, on Manor Park, which takes children up to year 2, and St. Peter's Junior School on Ashworth Avenue, for children in school years 3-6.

Our own children go to both schools, and we aim to support them by praying for the staff and activities.  From time to time our church members are parent-governors.

A team drawn from the three Ruddington churches leads the after-school club ALF: About Life & Faith, which is open to all children at St.Peter's school, at 3.30pm each Tuesday.

Our pastor Mike, together with Vicki Richards and Revds. Andrew Buchanan and Mike Lees, regularly lead assemblies at both schools, and we aim to support the curriculum where possible.  At Easter 2011, we provided an "Easter Labyrinth" at St Peter's School which gave every child, over the course of two and a half days, a multi-sensory expereince the Easter account of Jesus in the Bible.
