What a weekend!
This amazing event, led by the young people of Ruddington Baptist Church, focussed on community action, showing God’s love in practical ways, including decorating, digging flowerbeds, clearing a stream, painting fences, washing cars..............It was a great opportunity to make a positive difference in our village and we loved every minute of it!
The Parish Council kindly gave us the use of St Peter's Rooms for the weekend, and so using this as a base, we ate all our meals together (fantastic catering team!!), worked in teams across the village, then home for a quick shower and back to socialise and worship God together. Two of our former "young people" came as guest speakers in the evenings .............and by the time we went home on Sunday night we were tired but happy! Over 60 people took part, and more than half of these were our young people. We are so proud of them!!!
