Note, each small group has a copy of Cover to Cover Beatitudes. We are also thinking about how the beatitudes describe Jesus. John Ortberg has a series on the whole sermon on the mount, starting with the beatitudes. The Bible Project also has a series of videos (and other resources) on the sermon on the mount.

Lent is a time in the Church year – as we look towards Easter – when we take the opportunity to pause and reflect, and seek God. There are lots of good resources that you can use to help in this. For example:
Fasting was an everyday practice for Jesus and his contemporaries, and is often associated with lent. Fasting just means giving something up for a time in order to focus more on God. Here are a few ideas of things you could pause or reduce during lent to make more time for God:
The aim is not to feel bad, but to keep reminding ourselves that God is more important, and to take time to be present to God.
With the Church Vision Day coming up (28th April) please also pray for RBC, and consider what God might be saying to us and where God might be calling us as a Church.
