The men’s discussion group is a chance for men to get together to have open and honest conversations about life and faith. There is the opportunity for us to expand our thinking by listening to and questioning each other, increasing understanding by challenging our views and beliefs. It’s a safe place where we can say what we think without any reprisals, with the condition and trust that what’s said in the room stays in the room.
We sit in a comfortable homely room, drink tea or coffee and chat, there may even be biscuits and goodies to eat! We meet approximately every 6 – 8 weeks, we can take it in turns to lead/steer the discussion through a topic chosen by the group. We expect to tackle current issues, or something faith based like being closer to God at work or at home; or perhaps, helping one another to be a good husband, father, son, brother.
Any bloke is welcome, with a faith or not, you don’t need to be a Christian (although most of us are); diverse views are very welcome.
