Children & Youth

At Ruddington Baptist Church we want to make sure there is a place for families to discover God and do this in a way that is comfortable for them, as we know how busy and chaotic family life can be.

We try to create an environment in which children and young people can meet with God, develop deep friendships with one another, openly ask the questions that are on their mind and find acceptance, love, care and support.

For the first Sunday of each month and any café style services we all join in together, including children and young people.

On the more “conventional” Sunday mornings (usually weeks 2-5 of the month, in term time) school-age children have their own activities where they have time to explore the teachings of Jesus and go on the journey for themselves.

As well as the chance to meet up on Sunday mornings, our young people (aged 10-14-ish and 14-18ish) meet on a Friday evening at The Hub. These groups are aimed at growing together in faith whilst having a good time.  Food is usually involved!

Feel free to contact us if you’d like to know more about the children and youth work that happens at Ruddington Baptist Church.
