What we believe

We believe that the God who created everything refused to remain distant from the people He created. God became a person.  He lived life on earth experiencing all the good things but also sharing in our struggles and our suffering.

We believe that Jesus provides the perfect model to follow in life and that he died on the cross so that we can be set free and know life in all its fullness. That doesn’t mean life is always easy but it does mean that God knows our struggles and walks with us through them by His Holy Spirit living in us.

Our logo tries to show that following Jesus is a journey. As a church we are made up of many different people, from different backgrounds and walks of life. Some people may be close to Jesus, some may be further away and others may not know Jesus yet. This is not a journey that we make on our own. We are a community who love one another, support one another and walk together always trying to move closer to the cross.

We believe that the church is NOT a museum for good people but a hospital for the broken.
