We had a super Community Sunday last weekend, our biggest yet, with over 50 people of all ages taking part in all sorts of fun activities across Ruddington with friends, family and neighbours.
This month, food-lovers were well catered for! The youth group enjoyed breakfast at the Hub, Graeme hosted pizza making morning at his house, others gathered at St Peter’s Rooms to enjoy coffee and cake over board games and Anne hosted a group for a traditional Sunday lunch. For those wanting to stretch their legs and enjoy the great outdoors, some chose to scoot off on bikes for a trip down the river and coffee at the Embankment, while some headed to Rushcliffe Country Park to battle for victory at volleyball, or battle the wind while kite flying. We also looked for ways to serve our village, with a group leading a litter pick around the streets of Ruddington.

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet new people, go deeper in conversation with neighbours and friends, and celebrate God’s heart for community. Thank you to everyone who took part or hosted an activity.
We hope you can join us at the next one. Community Sundays take place in the morning of the first Sunday of each month and the next will be Sunday 3rd April. All are welcome, and you can sign up for one of the activities on offer here: Community Sunday (03-Apr-2022) · ChurchSuite Events. And if you have an idea for activity you’d like to see, please let us know!
