On Tuesday 26th April a number of us from Ruddington Baptist Church had the privilege of attending the commissioning service of Yancy Holden as Co-pastor of the Spanish speaking congregation at St Nic’s Church in Nottingham. During her time as a member of Ruddington Baptist Church over the past 4 years Yancy helped to run a Spanish speaking Alpha course at St Nic’s and over time a community of faith has grown and flourish. This commissioning service launched the start of a Spanish speaking congregation at St Nic’s which will meet weekly at 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening. We are excited about all God has in store for Yancy in this role and pray that God will bless her in this new ministry. If anyone wants to pop along along to Amor Y Esperanza at St Nic’s 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening then they would be very welcome.
